Airowear Ladies Airmesh Body Protector

Airowear's Airmesh Body Protector is the iteration of the industry-defining Outlyne Airowear Body Protector. Known for its comfort, durability and ability to fit all shapes and sizes means that this body protector is a sure choice for any rider.

The Airowear Airmesh comes with all the same great features as the outlyne body protector but offers enhanced airflow through its lightweight mesh cover. Airowear has gone to massive lengths to design a body protector able to fit any body shape and provide optimal comfort, protection and durability; To achieve this, there are four iterations of the Airowear air mesh body protector, youth, teens, ladies and men.

What makes the Airowear Airmesh Body Protector different from others?

The Airmesh Body uses ultraflex technology in its heat-responsive lightweight foam to ensure unrestricted movement for any rider in the saddle. Furthermore, the darted foam around the chest area, along with waist and shoulder adjustment, provides unrivalled tailoring and ensuring any rider can get the perfect fit. Not only is the foam darted, but it is also perforated to allow airflow, coupled with the sporty mesh, this body protector is exceptionally effective at dissipating a rider's body heat.

What Level of Protection does the Airmesh offer?

Airowear's Airmesh offers the highest level of protection available, certified to the highest safety standard possible, BETA 2018 Level 3.

Furthermore, the Airmesh back protector is safer not only because it has the standard, but because of the tailored fit that can be achieved with an Airowear body protector. This is achievable because of two factors; one it has the two adjustments and the second is because of the breadth of sizes that Airowear offers, offering three different back length off the standard size chart. It also provides a bespoke service provided for those few who fall outwith the core sizes offered.

As with any body protector, it is essential to remember that getting the correct size is the most critical factor. In our experience, the most common problems people have with protectors are that the rider is wearing the incorrect size.

It is important to choose a body protector the right size so it can offer riders the most protection and comfort if it is not snug enough then it can impede the rider's movement and cut into the rider's torso, on the other hand, if it is too small then the rib cage will not be adequately covered, your chest will feel constrained and the body protector will not offer even its most basic functionalities.

We accept all major Credit & Debit cards except American Express.
 You can alsp pay for your order using PayPal and Paypal Credit.

How much does delivery cost?

Orders over £75 qualify for Free Delivery within Mainland UK. Standard Delivery is £3.95.  For orders out with Mainland UK please refer to our Delivery Policy for more information.

How can I track my parcel for delivery?

You can track your parcel by logging into your Ayr Equestrian account and viewing your order history.  You will also recieve an email notification once your order has been dispatched that will contain all the tracking information for your order.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

Most of our orders placed before 1pm are dispatch for next day deilvery with DPD.  However please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be delivered.  For orders required urgently please contact the shop directly on 01292 266267 and we will endeveour to help you as best we can.

How do I contact customer service?

Please email with any queries you have.  We endeavour to answer emails within three
working days.  Alternatively you can call the Shop directly on 01292 66267 between 9.30am - 5.30pm daily.

When will my order be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch the vast majority of our orders placed before 1pm the same day. However please allow up to 2 working days for your order to be dispatched. 

What shipping provider do you use?

The vast majority of our orders are shipped with DPD.  In some instances parcels may also be shipped via Royal Mail or My Hermes.  All parcels are shipped with tracking details.

What is your returns policy?

Should you find on arrival of your product that it is the wrong size or that you simply no longer wish the item we are happy to refund or exchange your item/ items. All items must be returned within 14 days of being received.  Please refer to our Returns Policy page for full terms & conditions.  

Does this product come with any warranty?

Certain products are guaranteed for 12 months with a manufacturer's guarantee,
valid from the date of receipt and providing they are used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations (fair wear and tear). If you have any questions regarding the guarantee, please ask when making your order.

Can I use a gift card online?

Yes you can use your Gift Card for online purchases, simply enter your Gift Card code in the Apply Gift Card Box when checking out for it to be applied to your purchase.

Same day despatch

If you place an order before 1pm on a weekday and the item is in stock we will despatch your order that same day. Other orders are despatched on the next working day or asap but we will keep you informed. Orders will be despatched Mon-Fri, excluding bank holidays.

Free delivery

We provide a FREE UK delivery service within certain areas if you spend £75 or more. Please see the excluded areas below:

We may require a signature

To ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible, please make sure you give us a delivery address where someone will be available to accept it because many of our parcels require a signature upon delivery or simply will not fit through your letterbox. We will gladly deliver to a family member, neighbour or place of work if it is more convenient for you. In this case, please ensure you use the alternative address when placing your order.

If no-one is available to accept your order, a notice will be posted through your letterbox to explain how you can arrange redelivery or collection.

VAT exemption

Orders delivered to countries outside of the EU (including the Channel Islands) will have VAT deducted during checkout, after the delivery address has been entered. For Channel Islands, please ensure you choose Jersey or Guernsey and not United Kingdom in the country field.

Conditions of Return

  1. The item must be in a new, re-saleable condition for us to accept the item back.
  2. The item may be returned for either exchange or refund.
  3. Where appropriate the item must not have been worn other than for size.
  4. We will not accept items back in anything other than the condition received, even if subsequently cleaned.
  5. Items must include the original packaging and swing tickets.
  6. The cost of returning the item is your responsibility.
  7. Unfortunately we are unable to accept the return of special order items.
  8. We will not accept responsibility for goods lost in transit, so please use recorded delivery.
  9. If you returning the item for an exchange please include the return postage of £4.95.
  10. Please include your name, address & contact number when returning goods - common sense but a surprising number of people forget!

Faulty Goods

Certain products are guaranteed for 12 months with a manufacturer's guarantee, valid from the date of receipt and providing they are used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations (fair wear and tear). If you have any questions regarding the guarantee, please ask when making your order.

Should you receive any faulty items please phone and let us know as soon as possible. It is unlikely but on occasion goods can get damaged in transit. In this event we will happily replace the goods and refund the return postage. Should the fault lie with the manufacturer it will be returned to them quickly for assessment and will be dealt with promptly. In some cases this may take up to 4 weeks.
